Administration-prepared (pre-filled) tax return system going into effect

Based on the “prepared (pre-filled) rental income tax return” put in place back in 2012, the wider and more comprehensive ‘administration-prepared tax return’ went into effect as of March 1, 2016.

Unlike previously designed “prepared rental income tax return”, the new type of prepared tax return encompass not only rental income, but also wages and salaries, earnings from movable properties and other income and earnings.

This novel system functions in the form of a partly or wholly prepared tax return by the Tax Administration for each eligible taxpayer based on information in the official data-base and externally collected form other institutions with respect to respective taxpayers.

It will be substantially helpful for concerned taxpayers as it will enable them to check the income elements automatically put in the tax return to be approved by them as it is or with some sort of alterations.
